As luck would have it, I found out last night through email that two of my cousins and a husband were vacationing in Mesa. I was able to make contact with them last night and that they said they would be travelling south in a minivan to visit Biosphere 2, a two hour drive south towards Tucson. They picked me up around 08:30am and we drove an talked along he way. It was really nice to see them. Biosphere 2 was very interesting and the tour guide for the hour or so tour was very informative. After the tour we returned to Mesa where we enjoyed a pizza. They dropped me off at the most eastery stop on the light rail line just after dark and I took a train back to the Days Inn in Tempe. It was a very nice day to spend a rest day.
