The train arrived in Jasper at 1pm. It took about 30 minutes for them to unload my bike and gear and another 20 minutes to put my bike in running order and pack my panniers. I rode 16 km south to the Wabasso campground. There was a steep climb on the way that lasted a few km. The good thing was that a long descent followed. I’m glad I got a short ride completed to make up for 2 1/2 days of sitting and eating on the train.
