I felt really good today and had a good 88km ride to Tombstone. I arrive just before lunch and was able to check-in to a room at the hotel. After a quick shower I headed in to Tombstone to learn about the local history. I walked p and down the streets of Tombstone, grabbed a beer and a burger in a saloon and watched a re-enactment of the shoot out at the O.K. Corral.
I’m not sure what to think about being encouraged to cheer when the Earps opened fire with their hand guns to massacre the Clanton Gang. It seems they weren’t necessarily the noble lawmen depicted in the movies.
