I woke up this morning and took my time packing up camp and getting organized for the ride today. I was only planning to ride 40km to Sunwapta Falls. There were a few long climbs on the way and there was a light rain for about half an hour or so. After I arrived at Sunwapta Falls I had lunch and checked in to the lodge. I took the opportunity to wash some clothes in the sink and update e-mail. The lodge has a satellite Internet hookup and I don’t expect I’ll have access for a few days after this.
I took a short 1km ride to the falls and walked around on the trails and took a few pictures. Sunwapta Falls is a waterfall of the Sunwapta River. Sunwapta means “turbulent water”.
