I got on the road just after 7 am hoping to find a breakfast spot 8 miles away in Wenden. Unfortunately the restaurant had gone out of business. I was glad I had eaten a granola bar before heading out. I rode another 23 miles to Aguila and found out that the restaurant had gone out of business there as well. Luckily the gas station sold sandwiches so I was able to fuel up.
I ran in to a cyclist from Texas who is on a 6 month tour.
This cactus has had better days.
I finally arrived in Wickenburg after 57 miles and found a Mexican restaurant for lunch. The temperature was in the high 80s this afternoon.
It was a good day on the bike.
